AUDITORY LEARNING

The auditory learning modality suggests a preference for information to be heard or spoken. Auditory learners like to hear ideas and concepts being discussed and may prefer talking out loud as they work through a concept.

The Concept Cube caters strongly to these types of learners when acting both as creators or consumers. In creating the videos for a Concept Cube, the student gives voice to their understanding of the concept and related topics. In reviewing, editing and refining their videos, they must listen back to themselves and evaluate the effectiveness of their delivery of the topic.

As consumers of a Concept Cube made by their peers, the learner recieves audiovisual presentations that readily engage their auditory modality.

The image below shows how Explain Everything can be used to add auditory information to visual presentations either by dropping in videos or recording voice-overs.
