Arduino Basics

Welcome to this Arduino course. After a quick introduction, we will get straight into building some simple projects and explain the components and code as we go.

 

The course can be completed even if you do not have any Arduino equipment. We will use two methods for building the projects:

​

1. Virtual build using the Arduino simulator on the TinkerCAD website.

​

2. Physical build using an Arduino Uno board (or generic equivalent) and a range of simple components.

​

If you are completing a virtual build using TinkerCAD, you can watch the video below to understand the basics or the simulator.

​

If you are completing a physical build, you will need to download and use the Arduino IDE and can watch the video below to explore how to use this application.

Once you are ready, click on 'Project 1 - The Clock' in the menu bar above and lets start building!
